i read above comments by u pps.
i wana tell u only one thing that Etisalat offers unlimited packegs for U.A.E users no matter u are on 256 / 512 / 1 Mb / 2 Mb. But i wana ask 1 question from adli that u are asking for unlimited option for 256 but it is still coastly in pakistan as compared to U.A.E users .
IN U.A.E they offer 256=/ 149 DHS, 512=/ 199 DHS, 1 Mb=/ 249 DHS and so on
all of above connection are unlimited. And for ur info multi net is offering 256 unlimited connection for 2000 PKR but still coastly(for students from normal backgrouds).

Take a look at this. Any bandwidth (traffic) which is within Pakistan is cheaper than the bandwidth coming from abroad.

Adil, I think PTCL would avoid unlimited for now but if other ISPs start giving it then they'll compete as well. Someone suggested that we should differentiate between local and international traffic and not treat them as the same.

It means more strikes from PTCL staff and our phones will remain not working, if this will be the result, then its not good for Pakistan Telecome Industry.

And Baber Bahi i have a question, what you think about future plans of PTCL dsl, these days i have 256k connection and enjoying It (at least for 3 months unlimited), my real question is is there any plan for giving unlimited download in 128k or 256k or 512k connection for some extra cost like 256k for about RS 2000=/ and unlimited download.

Multinet is already providing an unlimited download package of 128k for about 1000 rupess.
