If you only want broadband internet, then i would recommend DSL. Since WiMAX is in its early stages and has serious signal penetration issues indoors. It is due to its frequency band which is very high frequency and hence very low wavelength (a very basic concept), so, even single wall penetration is sometimes not possible in indoor WiMAX. Wimax is much more advanced than DSL as you can have HDTV, Voice, Data and lot more services, with mobility, on WiMAX.
