Looking For iPhone Friendly Mobile Companies In Pakistan
Jehan Ara wrote an interesting post about her successful but stressful struggle to activate her personal iPhone and then taking it to Telenor to realize that “Telenor Smart Mail did not support the iPhone”. That led me to the question which I pose to all of iPhone fans in Pakistan: which mobile company is best for iPhone users in Pakistan?
Till recently iPhone did not support the corporate email but here’s a video which shows that Apple has aggressively addressed this shortcoming and also added some other missing but highly in-demand features such as calendar, address books. Watch the game demo too. And hey, there’s the $100 million dollar fund to create some more cool apps. BlackBerry - watch out!

Babar, I am honoured to be featured on your blog. This video from Apple is amazing - the fact that they are opening up the development to third party developers will indeed benefit Apple and iPhone users who will have a variety of Apps to choose from. The announcement of the iFund is a great move! If a few Googles and Amazons come out of this, it will be wonderful. I hope that some of our bright young minds will be amongst them.
Thats very nice of you Jehan. I find it fascinating that Apple keeps coming up with great new ideas and at the same time they are paying close attention to demands from the market.
For us beginner, Could you tell us how would you unlock the iphone in Pakistan. Does it has to be done by a technical person or it can be done by the user himself.

1) Push email is supported by iPhone , you just need to know how to configure it.
2) iPhone works with all the operators in Pakistan
3) iPhone unlocking is very very easy and done with a click. I am sorry , can’t link you here to the software , drop me an email , if you need the link / instructions.
4) As for contact syncing , it works with iPhone as well.
