tall claims Telenor corporation

ever wondered how much they earn by reducing the validity period of your prepaid cell phone connection? the paksitan telecom auth is hand and in glove.

example: In Pakistan “telenor” lowered the validity period from 2010 to 2008 all of a sudden… must have earned a lot…

We have to give credit to Telenor to at least put something for the customers to find out the best package for themselves in this era when there is confusion on pricing everywhere! though I do agree the tool needs some improvements to become more friendly.

My friend is a telenor customer and I compared his bill with this application and found correct advice according to his usage. hmmmm

Well here is a potential for some entrepreneur to come up with a mobile tariff / plan comparison web site (Decision support system) by listing the tariff of different service provider under one site
.
The same model can be applied for the Broadband plans comparison as the broadband become more common and affordable with the increment in the competition the choice and decision making will become more complex.

My point is that there is a need for educational tools. I used telenor as an example .. its definitely not a very good one. I think PTA can earn kudos if it pays attention to this.

Dear Mr Rehan,

For you, Prepaid with bundle SMS package is ok. Dont go for Postpaid with given airtime usage per month. Otherwise go for Indigo 100 Line rent package. You will get 100 minutes free, 50% call charges for family n friends, 50% call charges to all Mobilink numbers on Sunday. 25 free SMS. Its better for low usage group.

Keep in mind, always try to buy that company package which your close family members, friends and relatives have. Otherwise, even you will be having good low call package it will cost you more to call on other networks.

If you have girl friend then go for any late night package. You know, companies are targeting different market groups with different offerings. You won't find all in one. So be smart in selecting right connection.

This tool contains a fundamental flaw. Calculate the Outgoing Calls with On-Net having 0 (minutes spend = 2000, Percentage of out going offnet minutes = 2000) and when it is suggets you with the plan, the plan has on-net (Telenor) traiffs on the top where I didn't ask for any. The idea is good but not well structured and also does not provide pertinent information to what consumer is seeking. They have defined "limits" (as an RDBMS term) and those have been linked to their full plan pages.

Its good effort by Telenor, but as its on telenor website so its facilitating only telenor interested users.

I would suggest PTA to build such comparison software which keeps all companies tariff and plan. user should select his required usage and %age of calls to each network and percent of SMS to each network. it will give more broader and clear result for selecting correct package. PTA must also consider tax calculations in that software because tax plan is also progressive and depends on usage.

i hope some one can make this kind of stuff easily.
