UFone’s blackberry prepaid service has been suspended by PTA due to not obtaining noC from them. .
they might refresh the service again once they get the matter in control . .they have been asked to withdraw the promotions in print and electronic media immediately. .

is this actually going to lead to a complete ban eventually??

Ufone’s lauch of blackberry has been failed because it has been banned . .that is indeed very unfortunate !!

what do you guys think contributed to their failure??

Mobilink is the market giant. I have got 3 sims of different operators in my wallet and one in my cell (which is off course Mobilink). I have find it still better.

My job keeps me moving. As for as connectivity is concerned, Warid couldn’t make it, Telenor calls it full coverage even if they have set up just one Cell Tower at any location (I admire Telenor, it works good at Pandoo - an area near line of control), Ufone gets lost in sub-urabn and rural areas, Zong is quite new and offers nothing to corporate clients and finally I was left with Mobilink which offers just about everything.

The feeling is mutual. Except that I have the distinction to be intractable and sticking to their alley by creating nuisance for them in every possible way! ;)

I fan Mobilink! I love Mobilink! I try frandshap Mobilink face book n orkat but Mobilink kick me! I then sad 3 days and then I say I forgive and forget and then I smile to sky and the sky return smile say to me ibtida e ishq hai rota hai kya age age dekhiye hota hai kya jo sabz hoti hi nahin ye sarzamin uski tukhm e khwahish dil main tu bota hai kyun, magar phir bhi hum madad karain gay maayoos hota hai kya. Then I say okay now kick the back side of Mobilink and love Zong.

You will agree with Mr. Arslan because Mr. Arslan is speaking mohabbat ki zuban. And seondly, it’s about improving the society and not to base it down further by these consumer giants also contributing to ti. Is it challenging to get into Mobilink. No it isn’t. Is it challenging to get into P&G. Yes it is.

That’s the opinion which matters that makes up your image in outside society which is in organization’s own control (no matter how much of politics they may have within).

I so agree with Mr. Arsalan here; factual scenario and not emotions. One needs to admit that it is Mobilink who has been leading the telecom growth since GSM technology started its operations in Pakistan; because of it “aggressive” attitude and “catering to” consumer problems.

Secondly Mr. YeLadkaHaiAlaKaisaHaiDeewana, the “shame on you situation”; it’s not with any company but it is deepened its way into our society. It’s too lengthy of a debate but it’s the societies who shout out these slogans to the Government, Culture, Heritage, Religion, Organizations, Hospitals, etc etc and we are part of these societies; lets fix ourselves before even thinking of fixing anybody.

Well here are the published statistics —— which will highlight the true picture.

Warid - 185
Zong(paktel) - 362
Telenor - 1,252

Mobilink - 7,011

Now your question would be that why I am citing these statistics; well it is because I want to base my reply on factual scenario and not on emotions. We urbanites think the whole world is living in cites and tend to self-indulge and neglect others, however businesses do not run like this, they survive on the bases of hunting potential customers at every stage of the product life cycle and as in this case cites have been branded and provide with, its about time to explore new domains and far stretch the reach. And Mobilink is the only one which has been able to understand this fact before time. Mobilink’s whole operation revolves around its customer needs and satisfaction which can be testified with its presence in every city and locality of Pakistan

A large network bears a lot of cost in maintaining its processes and it would be unfair if we will compare Mobilink’s network with any other due its size and customer base. And in my opinion relative marking would be preferred here. Moreover, I think we should also give some credit to them for still are holding it together and fighting the price war.
