PTCL Trying To Generate Some Buzz Around Its High Speed Services
We recently covered the smart tv service recently. PTCL came up with this advertisement with a fast theme about their broadband and triple play services. This is supposed to convey the high speed associated with their broadband. Same concept has been used by many other triple play companies worldwide.
Notice the 100K subscribers in the ad. Honestly 100,000 subscribers is not much of an achievement to boast, given the much larger potential and the time it took to get there. Also note the emphasis on FREE which is misleading. Anyway, coming from PTCL, the ad is not as bad as their other ads. Speed, I am Speed!

TelecomPk.Net is a leading source of information and analysis about Pakistan Telecom industry. 
This idea is so boring and cliched. Bring on the next ad! a foreign ISP company symbolized their ‘fast’ service by showing a bottle of antacid in their print ad!! Humorous and drove in the message.
PTCL Broandband services are just by Luck. I mean if you are connected to some good exchange you will get amazing services but for all else its simply a pathetic choice.
PTCL started broadband in many cities at 31st december and it is also available in our all neighbouring cities but i dont know why its not available in my city: Khairpur Tamewali, Dist Bahawalpur.
I also inquired from my city PTCL Exchange and they are telling that Broadband equipments are installed and ready to use but they dont know when ptcl will start broadband in our city.
Wil anyone know when ptcl is announcing its second phase of broadband as i hope it will be started in second phase or can anyone tell me from where to inquire that when broadband will be available here in Khairpur Tamewali, Dist Bahawalpur ?
