Telecom and IT – Outstanding Project Award and Competition of Research Projects
PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) has announced an Outstanding Project Award and Competition of Research Projects for students if Telecom and IT. An opportunity for final year under-graduate students to present their research projects.
I must say a great inniative taken up by PTA to promote the industry and academia relationship. Not only this, it would also motivate students to take up research projects at undergraduate level, which shall promote research culture among them.
The last date to submit projects to PTA is April 27, 2009. The Criteria for Gold Medal and time-line and Topics for competition of Best Research Projects can be found at www.pta.gov.pk.

Hmm…this is sad. Did you try to other officials of PTA on this?
no body attended the phones, replied the mails. i wonder what the hell are these government departments doing. we even sumbittted our project. no result for the evalution, nothing. there prize distributuion was to be on 17MAy heard they had a Function in marriot but nothing about the results.
Its a big Drama!! thats all i can say
