Kakaballi – a tool can be used in many different ways. There are many studies which have shown the positive impact of mobile phones. Of course there is a lot of trivial usage as well. People are like that, give them anything and they will use it in all kinds of ways.

Telecom industry has created a lot of jobs for Pakistan. It is our shortcoming that we did not create manufacturing of handsets in Pakistan. Perhaps it has to do with our poor infrastructure (no roads, no electricity).

Telecom has no ‘real’ output. If we want to progress, we need to improve on ‘real’ industries rather than this one which is causing billions of dollars of outflow of funds for importing cell phones and telecom equipment. The telecoms companies are mostly multinational and repatriating their profits as well.

Everybody knows what sms are being used for today. Sending jokes, poetry and cheap romance.

i totaly disagree with u sms & telecom phobia has runied our nation cheeper rate not only destroyed the minds of young genration but also have become a most eritating .every one is in unknown depration due to moble connections .this is a v good fecilty which is bing misused .rates should be revised and sms packages must be stoped by govt .it should be used for positve activets rather then an entertainment

i m a student of engineering and during my degree i use this servic for my study purpose as well……dis new tax has also a bad impact on students future as well bcz mainly youth use dis service for communication……dis tax should b withdrawald or else we should quit using this service……if zardari cant give us relief den he cant have the income by imposing dis tax…….get up youth n as a protest quit using dis service till the new tax is with drawald

As salam o alaekum. friends that really shame action from the end of government.i am a student of master standard.its really true that sms communication is most cheapest way for the middle and lower middle class also for the poors.i too really utilize this way .whole my student life.because i really can’t accord the other coslty ways of communication.my request to the government to please reverse its decition of 20% tax on each sms.if this will implemented than a countless of students will not have the cheapest source,because that have become use to for this way of communication .
