Assalam o alaikum
I would like to request ptcl authorities to look into thier pakistan plus package revision from 2500 min. to 1000 min.
It was quite affordable for each person. Also it was not fare to change / revise package without prior information to thier customers.

Alternative companies may offer better services at a more cost effective rate.
Shop around and tell PTCL to disconnect as many unused dead lines as possible.
Get the disconnection in writing so you do not have to pay for bills on dead phones.

Changing the Pakistan Plus 2500 min to 1000 min without informing the customers is cheating and is extremely bad gesture by PTCL. We have been using phone whole of Aug and then almost whole Sep has passed and now coming to know on huge Aug bill that minutes have reduced. This is a clear case of cheating policies by PTCL.

PTCL should refund the amount for extra minutes used in Aug and Sep by Customers unknowingly.

Saleem - you are right about the packages and confusion. This is how companies play and the only way to tackle them is to tell them and go with the company which has simple plans.

Babar Bhatti Sahab,

These companies have so many packages that we cant even count. If possible then just write a small post of total packages of telecom industry available for users. people are so confused that I cant tell you. When I was working, at that time there were only 4 packages for postpaid and 2 packages for prepaid but now... Ufff! so confusing and complicated. Same like mobile phones... no company offer one handset with all best features... because they want people to keep buying one and then other mobile phone. I am not talking about technology upgradation... Obviously once new thing will come then mobiles will come with new features..but overall they plays. Nokia always keep one or 2 weak points in every handset. so this is the way of their marketing.

PTCL never played fair and will never play fair in coming days also. They never fix rent for local calls because they charge enormously on local calls and above this, not shows local calls detail in bills also. If they are so fair then they should print local calls details...

I find these "limited time promotions" to be confusing and difficult to digest. People often don't remember when these promotions end and end up paying more and get frustrated. I've heard many stories from users on this.

Hopefully PTCL will stick with these "plus" packages and not make more changes soon.
