Where did PTCL’s gaming lounge go?

Exactly at a point, when I was about to write a terrible review for PTCL’s gaming lounge, I found the link dead. The gaming lounge was a part of PTCL’s entertainment portal and they had quite a few interesting games servers listed including counter strike, call of duty 4, battlefield 2 and medal of honor-allied assult.
I was excited over the weekend and tried to connect, but found out that none of the servers was actually working. I tried all the 4 games listed above, but no luck. Today I hit PTCL’s entertainment link and only thing I see is a lame site with no links working at all, named Buzz Studio.
What’s going on? I suggest PTCL should finish their sites and get their servers ready before publishing their websites. People actually do visit their sites :p

BTW, complaints should be made to 1236. 1218 is the number for phone line complaints. I think, I’m not sure as I am not a PTCL employee, I just made and manage the entertainment site.

202.125.132.14 is the IP for the external users; i.e. this IP points to a different computer which shows the static web page for non-PTCL users.
Kindly give the command: “ipconfig /all” and post the result here.
Look in the TCP/IP properties of your LAN connection in Windows. You should have a check mark net to ‘Auto assign IP’ and a check mark for ‘Auto assign DNS’.

What di u mean by pinging the site? .Do you mean that i have to type ping entertainment.ptcl.net on run?.if that is so i tries but it resolves to 202.125.132.14
how can i solve this problem of DNS server should i change the Dns server’s in my TCP/Ip section?
.plzz help me because i already tried to issue a complaint on this issue but by calling 1218 they told me that this was not their problem and that i should call at 1236 or watever i dont remember exactly,and when i called on that number they told me to hang up and call on 1218 instead.
please try to make it easier for users who want to complain for your site isseus.
tell me the step by step procedure on how to fix this issue please.

This is a DNS issue. You may be using a local DNS or the IP is cached somehow. Ping the site, what does the IP resolve to? entertainment.ptcl.net should resolve to 202.125.132.7. Make sure that you are not using a proxy.
The entertainment websites has two separate IP’s pointing to two different servers. One IP is listed for external users (the one you re seeing) and shows a static page plus a DSL order form only.
The name server that is assigned for DSL users maps this to the real server with all the content.
The entertainment site was initially meant for audio & video content only. This is going a major design change these days. You will see the result after we get approvals and launch it.
The gaming site, similarly, has a lot of content such as Flash games, CounterStrike, MOHAA, etc.
Hussain.I have been a PTCL broadband costumer for about a month now.But i see exactly the same page with no links.
I dont know what seems to be the problem but i think it doesnot recognizes me as a ptcl costumer.
I didn’t even bother to complain about it because i heard that the site is pathetic (no offence) .The admins of the server don’t update it with more movies.This information may be wrong

During the testing phase, the Buzz and Entertainment sites were open for all. This has now been changed. The page that is shown in the image above is for non-PTCL DSL users.
These sites are value added services for PTCL DSL users. The multiplayer games include CS, CSS, BF2, COD, Team Fortress and many others.
Authorized users also get hundreds of downloadable games as well as Flash games.
No, this is not a monopoly. It is a free service for PTCL users same as the Warid, Mobilink, WorldCall and other portals which are similarly restricted.
The Entertainment site contains hundreds of songs, clips and full length movies.
Sign up for PTCL DSL if you want access to these sites.
…not even gonna lie. The charm of this was passing, and the restriction factor totally is a buzz kill. PTCL wants to keep their monopoly on things. So glad i switched to LDN student package and enjoy free and open gaming at their gaming servers.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t ptcl buzz and the gaming portal ip restricted? Available only to ptcl broadband users, that is.
Basit, perhaps you should try accessing the website from a ptcl bb connection to finish writing that ‘terrible’ review of yours. :)
Anyhow, it’s working fine for me, haven’t tried the multiplayer games so far, but the single player games are proving to be an awesome time pass.
I think the gaming lounge sort of disappeared. Weird, right?

Dear brother salaman, i was using mobilink infinity and i was also enjoying the fascility, but they seems to have killed there AWSOME ! server for being too spicy.
