The Bemisaal Jazz Offer
Just around a year back during last Ramadan we had the Ghanta offer race between Ufone and Mobilink. Don’t remember that, check it out here.
This year in their respective Ramadan deals Mobilink came up with Jazz 35 paisa offer and Ufone with Minute per Minute offer.
This Ufone deal offers free minute on every minute of call 24 hours a day. The offer is valid till September 7,2010 and is for Ufone to Ufone calls only. Other subscription details can be checked here.
Now the Ufone’s minute-per-minute free didn’t go that well with Mobilink and they struck back with their Jazz Bemisaal offer.
Here is an excerpt of what Mobilink has to say about their offer:
Keeping abreast with market dynamics and competition offers we are pleased to launch Jazz Bemisaal Ramadan offer, which offers lowest Ghanta offer rates to its customers to talk as long as they want – all calls to Mobilink numbers will be free for an hour, after 1st minute, at any hour of day and night. This offer is available on Jazz Octane.
This hit back is advertised in a much aggressive approach. One can easily say that Mobilink is simply laughing-out-loud (LOL) at the Ufone deal.
A point also worth to note here is that Mobilink here has copied the Ufone’s advertisement’s last punch concept mocking at Ufone’s offer subscription charges and punching it with ‘Teri Meharbani!’. Watch out this advertisement here:
Again like I said last time; price war between operators have taken a new form. Now they just not only announce their packages but also denounce others. Right after this the Ufone’s creative must have started brainstorming and I am sure a tit for tat will soon surface. Let’s see how they reply back on this.
