How Connected are Pakistanis?

We often hear different statistics about broadband penetration in Pakistan. Here’s an interesting piece of information taken from a presentation based on the work by Arzak Khan. This shows what people are willing to pay for broadband. Arzak presented this information at a conference in China last year.

    Broadband is ery important now a days it is true that PTCL is failed to provide good quality services in ADSL it is only because the copper media which PTCL is using in very old and that wires quality are not enough to carry the broadband signal, so PTCL need to change its media..and WIMAX is also failed in congested areas…

    although there are plenty of players in broadband but still market is awaiting for true boradband consumer product although ptcl try to fulfill the demand but failed to maintain kpis and qos

    internet now beyond simple text based sites to more filled with videos like youtube so broadband is necessary to for this purpose
