At the last World Cup four years back, it was difficult to keep track of the latest cricket happenings while you were at work or busy with anything outside. Life has changed remarkably over the past few years, especially with the increasing uptake of smartphones and the way third party applications have been accommodated by mobile phone manufacturers across the globe.
Now, you can keep a track of the latest match scores (LIVE!), see history of what happened in previous matches and also have a look at what is to come next in action. We’re talking about an application developed locally in Pakistan by a company called Tricast Media, Cricket Companion, that has made the nation proud with several thousand downloads worldwide.
If you’re running a Nokia phone, like we were while testing the Nokia C7, download the application from the Ovi Store and have a feel of the application for yourself. Standard GPRS/EDGE rates will apply for using the app if you’re not on WiFi.
