Google Announces Nexus Devices in 3 Sizes
In response to Apple’s recent launch of the iPad mini, Google has geared-up and announced a new range of Nexus devices. Google Nexus devices now come in three iterations i.e. small, medium and large while all three run Android 4.2, which is a brand new flavour of Jelly Bean featuring improvements in Google Now and many other features. Here is the list of the new Nexus Devices:
- Nexus 4
- Nexus 7
- Nexus 10

Nexus 4 is the smallest of the new range. It is a 4.7″ smart phone which has been developed in collaboration with LG. The salient features of the device are listed below:
- Android 4.2, Jelly Bean
- 4.7″ True HD IPS screen
- 768 x 1280 pixels (320 ppi)
- 1.5 GHz Quad-Core Processor
- 2 GB RAM
- Adreno 320 GPU
- 8 MP Camera

Nexus 7 has also been revamped and HSPA+ mobile data has been added to make this even more portable. Here are some of the features of this tab:

- 1.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
- 1 GB RAM

Google has entered Apple’s territory with the introduction of Nexus 10. The device has been manufactured in collaboration with Samsung and is being dubbed by Google as “premium entertainment device”. Here are the key features:

- 10.1″ display
- 2560 x 1600 pixels (300 ppi)
- 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Processor
- 2 GB RAM
- Mali-T604 GPU
- 5 MP Camera, 2 MP secondary Camera
