Verified Facebook Pages & Profiles Introduced
Those of you familiar with Twitter must know that all the celebrity accounts on it have a verified badge. This ensures that people don’t confuse fake accounts with the original ones. Facebook just got a thought to bring this over and they have. Now Facebook profiles and pages would be having verified badges too to save public from the confusion between gazillions of fake accounts and the original account. Now the questions remains that what strategy would Facebook use for verified facebook profiles & pages? For now, Facebook has took matters into their own hands and would be verifying whichever they think is the original account.
