Intel Awards Ceremony Held In Lahore
Intel Education Awards Ceremony was arranged by Intel Pakistan in Lahore on November 28, 2013. The event was held under the banner of Intel Education. Secretary Education, Mr. Abdul Jabbar Shaheen attended as the chief guest. The awards are held annually in Pakistan to emphasize the importance of technology in class room and recognizes teachers with extraordinary achievements in the said field.
The event recognized the brilliant performance in technology integration by teachers and schools across Pakistan. 15 participants were given awards to recognize their extraordinary achievements in implementing technology to leverage inquiry-based learning.
Country Manager – Intel Pakistan, Mr. Naveed Siraj was at hand to brief the media about Intel’s efforts in the education sector. He said:
“Intel has made concrete, consistent efforts for recognizing the teachers and schools taking part in this initiative and rewarding them for their considerable efforts in highlighting ICT in their classrooms and in turn, facilitating a conducive environment to experience technology first-hand.”
“Intel Pakistan is working hand in hand with the government to make the dissemination of and access to technology easily and beneficial for students and teachers alike.”
