Nokia Bigger Is Better Launch Event in Karachi
Yesterday, Nokia Bigger Is Better launch event was held in Karachi. At the event Nokia Pakistan launched the Nokia Lumia 1520 and Nokia Lumia 1320 Phablets at the event. We did live blog the event as well, here.
Event kicked off with Dana Adnani (Head of Communications Nokia North Africa, Near East & Levant) on stage. She greeted everyone and thanked for there coming to the event. Shortly after Arif Shafique (Country General Manager Pakistan & Afghanistan) took over. He gave a little bit of his introduction and asked Patrick Mercanton (Head of Marketing North Africa & Levant) to carry on the presentation. Patrick’s presented Nokia Lumia 1520 and Nokia Lumia 1320 at Nokia Bigger Is Better event. He pitched a little about the history of Nokia & Pakistan, growing Windows Phone ecosystem and the two new Windows Phone Phablets from Nokia.
Than Nokia Pakistan also introduced there new “Kuch Kar Dikha” TV show. The theme song of the tv show is given below. In the end, guests also got a chance to try out the new Nokia phablets in the demo area. Press Release of the Nokia Bigger Is Better event is after the break:

The Nokia Lumia 1520 offers the latest imaging innovation from Nokia – a 20-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) enabling sharp images even in the dark as well as oversampling and zooming technology similar to the Nokia Lumia 1020. Another impactful offering is the new Nokia Lumia 1320 which sports a six-inch display, 5-megapixel camera and a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon™ S4 processor. It comes in stunning colours which are a signature feature of the Nokia Lumia range and extends the Nokia Camera app to another price range. The Nokia Lumia 1320 will be available in orange, yellow, white, and black.
Speaking on the occasion, Arif Shafique, Country General Manager, Nokia Pakistan said, “Nokia Pakistan believes in bringing innovative devices in fun filled exciting packages. At the launch of these amazing new devices, Nokia Pakistan also announced a thrilling expedition in the form of a travel show named Kuch Kar Dikha. The show depicts an epic journey of youngsters from different walks of life to savour the scenic beauty of Pakistan. The show takes its viewers across landmarks which offer a rich mix of culture and history, and terrains where no one has ventured before. The entire expedition is documented through the incredible image and video capturing features of the Nokia Lumia range.
In its entirety, the eclectic blend of devices and a travelogue made this launch the most memorable one by Nokia Pakistan.
