CEO Oppo Pakistan Meets Tech Bloggers

OPPO Pakistan invited top technology bloggers at their new office FF block, DHA Lahore to meet Mr. David Wang (CEO OPPO Pakistan). The purpose of this meet-up was to discuss OPPO’s future prospects and strategies with experts and to identify any improvements which OPPO needs to implement to increase its market share and improve customer perception about the brand.

Mr. David briefed bloggers that how OPPO products are superior from other Chinese brands operating in Pakistan, he highlighted different features of OPPO smart phones like rotating cameras, long battery life, speed charging , camera results (compared to other brands) and build quality which give them edge over other brands.

Mr. David said “Every human being loves and admires beauty and beauty attracts all. Our target market is youth of Pakistan; Young people are attracted to beauty more than others. We do not just create smart phones, we create Beauty!

We do not sell Smartphones, we sell Fashion! .You won’t like to wear a faded (damaged) shirt if you follow fashion, to enhance reliability of Smartphones we focus on minute product details, which is one of the reasons of higher quality and prices. We are constantly trying to improve our design and  reduce our costs without compromising our quality”

There was an extensive discussion on the marketing strategies OPPO is perusing and most importantly how can they improve their products and marketing. There were a lot of valuable suggestions given by the bloggers which were appreciated by the OPPO team. Mr. David was jotting down the suggestions on a notepad and admired the input from the bloggers.

The meet-up was held in a friendly atmosphere and was very productive; Mr. David was keen to invite bloggers more frequently. He also admired the Pakistani people their personalities and enthusiasm, which I consider a great compliment from a Chinese brother. Meet-up was followed by a lunch.
