Haier Pakistan 1st Blogger Meet UP
Haier Pakistan invited bloggers to visit their Haier Technology Park situated at rewind road Lahore. Pick and drop facility was provided from The Mall of Lahore to the venue. Bloggers were briefed about the history of Haier by Mr. Faisal Afridi (Managing Director Haier Paksitan).

Mr. Humayon Bashir gave a presentation on activities, performance and Haier’s global stance on corporate social responsibility. Mr. Bilal Zafar introduced Rupa-SEZ Group’s new e-commerce project JoChaho.pk. It is a unique online mega store; which is directed towards catering the increasingly growing online shopping needs of Pakistai consumers. JoChaho.pk strives to offer the finest selection of products and goes out of its way to give its valued customers the best shopping experience in the internet. Mr. Bilal explained the ordering process and supply chain of the upcoming website. He declared daraz.pk as a bench mark for them, the website is expected to be formally launched for consumers in start of 2016. Hash tag #InspiringMoments was used on twitter for the event, dedicated tweeting by bloggers made it possible to trend this hash tag during the event.

Refreshments were served during these presentations. Bloggers were guided to the refrigerator and fridge reassembly areas where they witnessed whole assembly process and took a group photo. Unconventionally photography was not prohibited in the assembly area, we were not briefed about any health and safety policies and no safety shoes or any other safety equipment was provided to us. Bloggers were also expecting to visit the laptop assembly as it was mentioned in invitation but it was cancelled due to unexplained reasons.
After the factory visit bloggers were treated with delicious lunch consisting of traditional Pakistani dishes.Bags with gifts were presented to all bloggers as a token of appreciation.A group selfie was also captured by bloggers at end of the meet-up.
