CAREEM Partners With 6 Banks in Pakistan
CAREEM, the fastest growing app based car booking platform, has partnered with 6 Banks in Pakistan to provide their customers a convenient option of payment through Credit Card for their ride through CAREEM. MCB, UBL, HBL, Silkbank, JS Bank & Faysal Bank credit card holders shall now be able to book rides through CAREEM and also get a 20% discount till 31st Dec 2016. This brings the total no. of banks to 8, with Bank Alfalah & SCB already having entered in a partnership with CAREEM.
Customers need to select Credit Card as a payment option when booking their ride to avail this discount. This solves a major pain point of carrying exact cash since the payment will automatically be deducted from their Credit Card once the ride ends. Such steps will help the customers gain confidence in digital payments in Pakistan and thus act as a healthy step in digitisation of the economy.
Junaid Iqbal, MD Careem Pakistan, shared his opinion in the following words: We, at CAREEM, are always striving to provide safe, reliable and convenient transportation options for our customers and this is yet another step that shows our promise of convenience for all. He further added, such partnerships shall further help propel the growing e-commerce business in Pakistan by making digital payments a safe and trusted option for customers, to fulfil their everyday needs.
