Telecom Grads – All job options have dried up? Think Again!

Guest post by Ali Abbas

sign_home1It has been a long time since I have blogged which happened due to a number of factors and the most contributing one was lack of time! Well guess what? I am finally back and it is no surprise that the Telecom – Student scenario is still at the exact same spot where I left it. Upcoming telecommunication graduates are all worried and tensed biting nails and spending all their time in cursing the world for being so mean and not generating enough job opportunities! Yesterday I met a university junior after a long time and all he could talk about was the troubling thought of job shortage in Pakistan and complaining about all the options being “saturated” and dried up.

Limited Time Offers – Limits?

limitedEvery other day we hear about special offers from cellular operators introducing new packages and rates. Majority of these are limited time offers. It is very hard to find out if a packages announced are still effective or not. We have had instances earlier that the offers are taken back without proper and clear notification to the consumers and they have been hit with higher charges because of this.

Such actions are violations of the consumer rights. I suggest that the authority must enforce on operators to clearly announce end-time of all limited-time offers with the announcement of any such offer. We are here posting a poll on the same, cast your opinion and give your comments on this.
